Several years ago my husband and my sister had cancer, it was toughest process of my life. A year ago I was told by doctors that my mom had cancer too. We fought hard to keep her and our hope alive.

When she started losing her hair I felt very sad. I mean why wouldn’t I? Cancer in our family’s lives again? She was unmotivated and felt ugly. I didn’t know how to make her feel better and beautiful again.

So, I decided to do a makeover on her. I cut her hair and did her makeup, it worked! For some reason this type of gesture made a huge difference on her attitude and mine.
